We are Kate and Lou and are passionate about fitness and about STRONG by Zumba.
Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG by Zumba (SBZ) combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to uplifting music. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you to make it to that last rep.
In a one-hour class you will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats and planks.
As instructors we will change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you’re always challenged to the max. Every month we will swap out one of the sections to make sure that the routines stay fresh and will give you a new challenge to master and to push your limits further.
SBZ makes a great cross-training / HIIT class and, for those of you with a high level of fitness already, will add some variety to your regime.
